Most people have never heard of Addison's Disease or know what adrenal glands are and what they do. I have a little information about it, but not much. I was diagnosed in December and finally have an appointment with an endocrinologist Wednesday. What questions should I be asking?

Addison's is a very scary disease and I have found that even doctors in the emergency room don't pay attention to it. You have to be on top of it at all times because illness, pain and even emotional distress can put you in crisis and death follows shortly after if not appropriately handled. Up you cortisol when sick or even going to the dentist and Cary you injection at all times. Please make sure you are educated about your health because I swear the health field has no clue. SCARY!!!
