Burning ear syndrome

I began noticing 1 ear red and not the other rarely both ears, the red ear will get warmRed burning ear syndrome

  1. out usually only last for maybe a minute , I can usually feel my ear getting warm. Maybe it’s stress or Sjögren’s syndrome . I’ve been thru a lot the last 5 years 3 year job working 4pm to 4am then down the last 2 years for a failed back surgery thanks to a loose screw in my lumbar the surgeon refused to look at me, after getting additional opinions from 3 other surgeons I went to Mayo Clinic to find out the screw was loose after 18 months of misery and their suggestion was a stimulator which I had put in this week. I did find out this week I’m borderline anemic and low testosterone not sure if they could affect the ears burning .

    1. , I'm glad you got the stimulator and I hope it makes a positive difference. My son is neurodivergent, and I think his is based on some kind of neurological stimulus.

Sjogren's Syndrome is an interesting hypothesis. There are some reports of it affecting ears, but it seems to be more of an inner-ear effect, rather than a surface reaction.

I'll be interested in seeing if you get any relief! - Warmly, Donna (Team Member)

  2. , the same thing has happened to my youngest son since he was small. For him it is when he is tired, sick or stressed. Do you notice any common causation for yours? - Warmly, Donna (Team Member)
