  1. Using my electric throw on my lower body helps me relax, helps the freezing feet from raynaulds & achy leg muscles & chronic fatigue. I have multiple soft mattress pads on bed so its soft enough. Hug my body pillow size squashmellow. Keep rooom dark & quiet. Snuggle my big dog in bed w/me.

    1. , gosh, but I love a good heated throw/blanket! And you're not the only member of this community to mention hugging a squishmallow for comfort! Those things are sure soft and cuddly, aren't they? And, frankly, some time in a soft, soft bed with a dog and some wine doesn't sound like a bad way to pass the time when you're not feeling awesome.

  2. Staying in God's word, and who he says I am. Pray, pray, and pray some more! Thank him for being able to share in Jesus suffering for me. "It is but a light and momentary affliction" by comparison!

    1. , I love that your faith is a source of strength, comfort, and consistency in your life. All of those things can be in dreadfully short supply when you love with a rare disease! I am glad your faith helps you keep those reserves up.

  3. A squishmallow to hug when I'm alone.

    1. , I think all of my kids (teenagers, mind you) have at least one squishmallow. Those things are so darned soft and cute! I am glad your's brings you some comfort when you are alone. We all need something soft to hug, don't we?

  4. I use a cold jade eye roller on any body part that hurts to bring a little bit of comfort

    1. , ooh, I'm gonn teal that idea! My neck gets tight and hurts and I get migraines. None of the "Heat" rubs are hot enough. I used to use Arthritis Strength Absorbine Junior roll-on - it was burning hot and it worked! Of course, you can't get it anymore. Ice doesn't help because the texture of the ice cubes is irritating, but that might be perfect! Thanks for the tip! - Warmly, Donna (Team Member)
