  1. , Thank you for posting so much useful info about eating disorders. I suffered from one for about a year when 20 years old. Getting into a support group at UCLA where I was in undergrad studies was what helped me conquer it. I now look back and wonder if my problems with food may have been related to my having had unknown to me at the time BOTH Celiac Disease and Cystic Fibrosis, and the associated digestive issues both of these diseases cause. I know peer group pressure to be thin was also part of what brought on my eating disorder, though. It can be a puzzle to solve, but support is so very very important, and definitely self-love and processing shame.
