Does anyone here have Mast Cell Activation Syndrome?

Trying to decipher if I should be avoiding My Trigger Foods altogether or if it's not The Top Couple of Ingredients I can eat it, or if it doesn't cause a reaction at that particular time I can eat it? The specialist says don't eat at all, Mom who's a Nurse says only if not in Top Couple of Ingredients, and Dietitian who's been trained in the subject says only if it doesn't cause a reaction at The Time. I've got a working diagnosis, not fully diagnosed, yet.

  1. Hi , I wanted to check in with you and see how you are doing today. Have the symptoms that you were experiencing dissipated? Do you have a treatment plan you are comfortable with? - Warmly, Donna (Tea Member)

    1. , I'm not Donna, but I wanted to chime in and say I'm glad you're doing well, overall. While it stinks that you don't have an 'official' diagnosis, I am glad your symptoms are being treated and that the meds seem to be helping. I hope your symptoms continue to stay mild.

      Best, Erin, Team Member.

    2. , I'm so glad to hear that you're getting some relief! There may be some financial help available At these organizations:
      https://tmsforacure.org/patient-assistance/
https://supertmastcell.org/grant-applications/ (in the form of grants)

I hope that may be of some help. Please keep in touch and let us know how you're doing. - Warmly, Donna (Team Member)

  2. this is a hard condition

    1. , it's a terrible conglomeration of symptoms! Are you having cardio-vascular, allergic, gastrointestinal, or miscellaneous symptoms - or multiple symptoms? - Warmly, Donna (team member)

  3. I do yes I am

    1. , so what makes you feel safest? We are all so vastly different, and our reactions to the same stimulus can be so variable, there can really be no - the consensus says - it has to be about what is right for your self, physically, mentally and emotionally. Are you feeling confident enough to make decisions by listening to (and trusting) the feedback from your body? - Warmly, Donna (team member)
