Beta Thalassemia

I’ve gone through growth (extra long arms) and bone problems, enlarged spleen and liver, heart problems (like arrhythmias and heart failure from iron overload), anemia, gallstones, and endocrine issues and hypothyroidism.

  1. Hi, !

I know you shared on this site previously that you have RA. Is the Beta Thalassemia a new diagnosis you are managing or a diagnosis you have know about for a long time? Either way, it sounds like you have a lot on your plate (pardon me for stating the obvious). I hope you have support from friends and family!
