Getting doctors to understand

I spent 10 years of my life in excruciating pain. The last two years of my life I considered not being here anymore. I moved from state to state to find help. I finally found my own diagnosis on a CT scan that was taken for sinus issues. Issues that I didn't even have! I had tmjd, so severe that I ended up having total orthorganic surgery. It is the worst thing I've been through. I'm still recovering. Doctors just think you complain about paying because you're seeking drugs. It was so unnecessary what I went through.

  1. I just want to echo Donna's words, . And say that you shouldn't have had to go so long and fight so hard for a proper diagnosis. I am glad you kept fighting for your health and I do hope your recovery begins getting easier. I am so sorry it has been a challenge to get adequate pain relief. I hope your mental health can heal and improve as your physical health improves.

    Gentle Hugs, Erin, Team Member.

  2. Hi , oh goodness, that is a long time to go without relief and answers! I'm so glad you persisted, advocated for yourself and got answers. HAve you gotten any relief? - Warmly, Donna (Team Member)
