My Journey with Myasthenia Gravis and Lung Cancer

On an ordinary day, on a routine doctor appointment, I found out I had myasthenia gravis and lung cancer in one brief conversation with my doctor. I started infusions soon after that, along with fighting cancer. I stay tired but on blessed days I feel almost normal until the end of the day, then I just cannot go any further as far as walking or lifting my arms. I'm also choking on almost all my food. I'm frustrated 🥴

  1. thank you so much for the information, I never thought of asking my doctor about it. I'll be sure to ask for a referral.

  2. Hi , have you ever consulted a Speech Language Pathologist? I know they are helpful with dysphagia in patients with Alzheimer's, and I did a little poking. It looks like they can help MG patients as well, with both dysphagia and dysarthria. Please keep us posted on how you're doing. - Warmly, Donna (Team Member)
