  1. Heating pad

  2. A very full hot bath. Before my diagnosis I was very I'll. Stubborn as well, knowing I had a doctor's appointment coming up, I refused to make an emergency appointment it go to the ER. I could get no relief or sleep unless I was in my bath tub filled until it was about to overflow with as hot as I could stand it water. Finally I could get sleep until I woke up in cold water and started all over again.

    1. , I don't want to ever assume I know what your experience with a rare disease is like, but I do know that I also do the insanely hot bath to help when my migraines get out of control. When nothing else works, that very full, very hot bath often does the trick.

How are you doing now, since being diagnosed? Do you feel like your symptoms are a little more manageable or not really?

  3. Laying back in my chair under my thick blanket with my PEMF therapy device and sometimes my heating pad and just sleep.

    1. , it sounds like you have some great tools for taking care of yourself when you're having a tough day. Thanks for sharing!

  4. Using my electric throw on my lower body helps me relax, helps the freezing feet from raynaulds & achy leg muscles & chronic fatigue. I have multiple soft mattress pads on bed so its soft enough. Hug my body pillow size squashmellow. Keep rooom dark & quiet. Snuggle my big dog in bed w/me.

    1. , gosh, but I love a good heated throw/blanket! And you're not the only member of this community to mention hugging a squishmallow for comfort! Those things are sure soft and cuddly, aren't they? And, frankly, some time in a soft, soft bed with a dog and some wine doesn't sound like a bad way to pass the time when you're not feeling awesome.
