How to Be a Great Friend to Someone Living With a Rare Disease

What characteristics, behaviors, and kindnesses mean the most to you from people who are not living with a rare disease?

  1. I agree. Empathy lets the person who is going through these trials feel validated and supported which is a relief. So many may think we are exaggerating how we feel or what we are unable to do.
