Art to cope with your rare disease

Do you use art or creative outlets to cope with your rare disease? If so, please share your favorite projects with us below!

  1. Yes, I write poetry and am in the process of writing my personal rare disease journey. I also color and play design and fashion games. They all help.

  2. My favorite crafts are knitting, crochet, sewing, and using my cricut machine. Right now I have been on a kick of knitting Mr. Rogers sweaters for everyone. It’s my way to relax every night!The start of my newest sweater

  3. Yes, I design and sew costumes for theatre groups. If I’m unable to sew, ii have others that will help. I crochet, embroider, or counted cross stitch as my own relaxation

  4. I really need to start doing something different. I have been having so much pain in my body lately. I really enjoy journaling. I enjoy reading a great book. I need to try something different. I have Sickle Cell Anemia. I was diagnosed with Sickle Cell when I was six months old. I have had so much stress in my life. I'm tried of being in severe pain.
