Unexplained Night sweats
I have been experiencing night sweat every night basically ever since my diagnosis with NMO. Im wondering have anyone else experienced un explained night sweats. I have had all kind of test and seen all kinds of specialists and no one can seem to find the root cause. This has really been a problem for me and an exhausting experience!!!waking up in the middle of the night the night soaked and drenched.Has anyone else experienced this?
YES!!!!! In the past, on the hottest day of the year, I would not break a sweat. Now, day and night I find I am pouring out from the sweat glands!! My doctors say -the usual- "it's the medication"....
SO..does that mean I should STOP the medication???!!! NO, but isn't there some counter measure I could take???
I have myositis (derma and poly). I'm learning all the time something "new" about this weird disease!

, It's hard to deal with your doctor not taking your concerns seriously. Have you told them that it is very bothersome? I couldn't find anything about your symptom, but I did find some articles about communicating with your doctor and advocating for yourself that hopefully can pave the way to a real discussion:

Yes, absolutely!! Normally, I am freezing in my parents’ house but, every now and then, I will wake up drenched in dried sweat. I have PITS and hypothyroidism, which sort-of explain them, but not always. If nothing else, I understand.
