What's wrong with my hand?

Too many needle pricks while my time in the hospital, now my hands look so different. Does anyone else face the same issue, got any diagnosis done ? Please reach out!

Thanks

  1. Thanks Erin for the response.

I had so many other problems to deal with medically, this has always been on the back burner. My hand feels numb sometimes, it pain a little most of the days. It's Deep Vein Thrombosis(DVT) from too many needle pricks. Don't know how to bring my hand back to normal. Massages seems to help , but I am looking for permanent cure.

    1. (Mohit), your explanation helps me understand your situation a bit better. I am glad the massage helps, but I know the results are temporary. I would definitely keep talking to your doctor about what you are experiencing and hopefully, he/she is willing to help you find more possible treatment options to bring you more lasting relief.

  2. There is a definite difference between your hands, ! Have your doctors given you any ideas as to what could be causing this? I have to admit that I'm stumped. I haven't come across another case quite like yours. Are you experiencing any other symptoms in your hand, like pain or numbness? Does it feel like water retention? The only thought that comes to mind is Lymphedema -- https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/lymphedema/symptoms-causes/syc-20374682. Please know I am in no way attempting to diagnose you or offer medical advice, but have your doctors mentioned lymphedema?

I wish I had some other answers for you. I do hope you are able to get a correct diagnosis (and some relief!) very soon!
